These selfless individuals care for vulnerable children who cannot be raised by their biological parents, driven by love and parental compassion.

Minister Uwamariya praised the Malayika Murinzi, recognizing them as parents, counselors, and role models. She highlighted their roles as sources of peace and love, affirming the nation's deep appreciation for their contributions to parenting.

She called on families to fulfill their parental responsibilities by meeting their children's needs, loving them, spending quality time together, providing a healthy diet, ensuring school attendance, and engaging in activities that promote their growth and well-being to prepare a bright future for Rwandan society.

Minister Uwamariya joined GEARG and Huye District residents to commemorate and honor the families wiped out during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

She stated that these families have not disappeared in Rwandans' hearts, as Rwandans will always remember and honor them.

She emphasized the importance of fighting against all forms of divisions, maintaining unity, and recommitting to parental responsibilities.

Minister, stressed the need to educate children and youth to uphold the values of love and unity that define the Rwandan family, ensuring that the genocide and other past tragedies are never repeated.

June 4th: Minister Uwamariya called on Rwandan families to combat genocide denials

Minister Uwamariya commensurated with residents of Kibirizi Sector in Nyanza District for the 30th commemoration of the women and children who tragically perished during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

She delivered a message, beseeching Rwandan youth and all community members to steadfastly reject any efforts aimed at undermining Rwanda's advancement, and instead, to fully embrace the opportunities that the nation offers.

Minister Uwamariya especially encouraged the youth to draw inspiration from the courageous efforts of the former RPA Inkotanyi, who played a pivotal role in liberating Rwanda. She implored them to stand against genocide denial and hate speech, emphasizing the importance of preserving Rwanda's unity and progress for all Rwandans.
