Context of Rwandan Family The family is the foundation of the society. In Rwanda, family development is rooted in the main orientations of the country’s Constitution which requires the State of Rwanda to set up appropriate legislation and institutions for the protection of the family, especially the child and the mother (Art. 27). Family promotion is also paramount in the Rwandan government’s vision toward 2020 Horizon. |
